What We Do
We provide a number of trainings for individuals, non-profits, corporations, museums, foundations, and more to help ease anxieties around making meaningful changes related to the representation of Native cultures and care of Indigenous lands.
All of our trainings are hosted with you in mind and include close planning with your leadership team to tailor our topics to your work, your location, and your needs.
You can expect all of our trainings to include Native perspectives, in-depth research, self reflection, small breakout groups, large group discussion, and a safe space for questions.
In addition to our in-depth trainings, we offer ongoing 1:1 consulting to help you and your organization implement the holistic theories and practices learned during these trainings.

Why We Do It
Creating an inclusive work environment, serving a Native constituency, and transforming your work to align with Native goals and values rooted in these Indigenous homelands, can be daunting. As a Native-led, ally-supported organization, we believe Native core values are good for everyone, including the Earth we share.
Our Trainings
Shared Stewardship 101: Navigating Native Heritage & Our Shared Responsibility
Our Shared Stewardship 101 training provides the foundational building blocks for Native American cultural competency in the workplace. During this training, participants deepen their knowledge of Native philosophies and lived experiences, explore the nature of Tribal partnerships, and reflect on their own blindspots.
Shared Stewardship 102: Personal and Professional Tools for Allyship and Collaboration
Our Shared Stewardship 102 training is the follow up to our 101 course. This training focuses on self reflection of our own histories and practical implementation of the Principles of Allyship. We will guide participants in developing skills for forming effective relationships with Native communities and peoples.
Practicing Allyship: Leadership Development Groups
Our Practicing Allyship workshop is a follow-up offering to our 101 and 102 introductory offerings. This leadership workshop is geared towards key organizational leaders passionate about going deeper and integrating the concepts explored in earlier trainings. This workshop addresses the challenges that arise when working cross-culturally and explores barriers to collaboration and allyship.
Statement of Accountability Workshop
Move beyond performance and into action. In our most hands-on workshop, we examine your land acknowledgment and assess your organization’s policies and resources. With this knowledge, we help you develop a forward-facing, resource-driven action statement that your whole organization can stand behind.
Standards for Museums with Native American Collections: Implementation for Reciprocal Partnerships
